The end of all things to come

11022011 has been a strange, sad day for a lot of people.
"Nokia + Microsoft. Here we go." title nokia.com.
"To hell", presumably.
Jokes aside, it's good to see how Nokia completely shatterd everybody's enthusiasm and hope in their upcoming ecosystem.
I am no economist and I have no clue about what to do to save burning platforms, except that throwing some fuel in might not be a reasonable choice.
Anyway, now that not only MeeGo but also Qt won't be taken into consideration any longer by BigN (as you can read here and here), I can see the expected hordes of developers eager to put their hands on the wonderful new Nokia Windows Phones and the truckloads of apps sold on the store.
N900 has been the short prelude of something that'll never happen.
Thanks Nokia
an ex-fond of your devices, roadmaps and vision
